The secure print contract covers five years and followed a review in May. Communisis had previously held a five-year agreement with the bank. The contract will be managed by Communisis' Transactional Print Services division.

"This contract reiterates our commitment to retaining existing clients as well as recognising the significance of generating important new business for the group," said Communisis Transactional Print Services sales director Farrell Kent.

The deal will also cover the supply of personalised cheque books for personal and corporate customers.

All of the Co-operative Bank's cheques and credit books are produced using 33% recycled paper.
