The deal effectively doubles the amount of work Centurion does for the supermarket by increasing its remit to include point-of-sale and logistics services like pick-and-pack and distribution.
Centurion will continue to manage the printing of Sainsbury's leaflets, brochures and direct mail, which it has done for the last three years.
The contract, which was put out to tender six months ago, also includes direct mail for the Nectar loyalty card - in which Sainsbury's is one of four partners.
Centurion managing director Simon Tate described the Sainsbury's deal as a "key contract" for the company. "This underpins our growth projection in print management. And we have several other contracts underway, which we will be announcing shortly," he said.
Centurion, bought by Communisis in May, last week said that its five-year deal with Barclays could be worth 250m (PrintWeek, 22 November). Communisis said the deal marked its transformation "from printer to print manager".
