Cartwright, who was director of sales for sheetfed and finishing at MAN Roland GB, had worked at Muller Martini in a sales role from 1983-1992.
He takes up his new role on 4 November, replacing Andreas Futterer, who was promoted to head up Muller Martinis sales in Germany earlier this year.
Muller Martini UK managing director Andreas Schillinger said Cartwright was the final piece of the jigsaw to create a very strong sales team.
We needed someone to lead the sales team and to take advantage of the economic recovery, said Schillinger. He is the icing on the cake, so to speak. Now well certainly give the competition something to worry about.
MAN Roland GB is searching for a replacement for Cartwright and, in the meantime, managing director Nick Charles will act as head of sales for sheetfed and finishing, said marketing director Murray Lock.
We wish him well, said Lock. We believe hell do a great job with Muller.
