Carrs Products crashes again

Carbonless paper maker Carrs Products has gone into administration for the second time in just over a year.

As PrintWeek went to press, RSM Robson Rhodes was set to be appointed administrator. The packaging division, Carrs Rapaid, is unaffected by the move.

"Demand was not big enough to keep the business going," said Tony Davies, sales and marketing director of Carrs Products and Rapaid.

"We are presently discussing any redundancies with staff at the moment."

The Birmingham-based firm, previously Carrs Paper, was bought out of administration by a team of four last May.
