Buzwell Group chief executive Colin Parker said he hoped a deal could be struck to save the business, and retain some of the 32 staff.

Last year Parker and associates then under the name of Skyrooks bought the former business of Perivan White Dove from administrative receivers (PrintWeek, 11 December).

Parker said he was pleased with the way the business was operating, under its new name of White Productions.

Parker said he had read about the Offset's troubles in a local Hampshire newspaper, and made enquiries from there.

"There's more than a reasonable business there, and it would make a good satellite office," he said.

Parker said Offset was now taking independent advice on its situation, which he said was the right and proper thing to do.

A proposed creditors meeting scheduled for 29 March was cancelled.
