Burman gets sneak preview of new Karat
FE Burman managing director Michael Burman saw his new 74 Karat in progress when he visited KBAs Radebeul factory last week, as part of the pre-Drupa event attended by more than 100 UK printers.
The press, Burman's second Karat, is set to be installed at the end of the month. KBA has also opened up the Karat to a wider range of front-end workflows by adding a one-bit TIFF interface to the machine. Sales are also on an upward trajectory seven 46 or 74 Karats have already been sold in the UK this year.
