Johnson and Pindar chairman Andrew Pindar, who will be chairman of the proposed Printing Industry Forum, met with Timms to discuss the forum bid, which is awaiting final sign-off.
Pindar said he was impressed with Timms: It was a very constructive meeting that went very well. Clearly the government has a distinct interest in improving the competitiveness of all sectors, including printing.
Were hopeful of finding a way forward that addresses the issues raised.
