BPIF chief executive Michael Johnson said that the new contracts of employment, which will come into force from 1 April, detailed all employees rights including the final salary pension scheme, sick pay, maternity and paternity pay, notice and healthcare. All the terms and conditions are above the statutory minimums. Many of the BPIFs employees had different contracts of employment.
We have worked for over a year to see how we could get the best terms and conditions for all staff. It wasnt about saving money, but fairness, said Johnson.
