Finlay, who leaves a wife, Nicki, had worked for the Chertsey-based firm for eight years.
He knew he was terminally ill and was involved in recruiting new staff, said managing director David Burton.
Nick Wintle, managing director of Kadfire, will take charge of consumables sales and another soon-to-be-announced external candidate will handle sales in the firms hardware division.
Finlays funeral took place on Wednesday (7 August). Donations should be sent to The Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
