The Midlands-based business started life in 2005 as a design business, but now describes itself as a printer first and a designer second, after installing a Xerox DocuColor 250 in 2006.
Print now generates 55% of its business and, according to Box 3, it plans to bring in more production staff for the print side over the next 12 months.
Partner Shaun Goddard said, although the printing business took off quickly, the company experienced problems with bottlenecks in its finishing department.
"We only had hand finishing to start with but our 'complete solution service' gave us a lot of referral work, which put pressure on our processes," he said.
"It was clear we needed to consider an all-in-one finishing solution that ticked lots of boxes."
Since its installation, Goddard said the DC-445 had saved up to two hours production time on some jobs.
