The deal, for an undisclosed sum, means the return of the Stampiton Labels name. It was formerly known as Renaissance Mark Stampiton.
The management team, led by managing director David Smith, includes sales director Derek Maskell and finance director Tony Worthington.
Maskell said that the 120-employee company hoped to break into new markets this year with investment in new equipment and the launch of new products.
At the moment we are looking at six or seven different markets. We are very positive about the future, said Maskell.
He would not disclose which areas were being considered. The 14m-turnover company produces labels for the A4 stationery, computer stationery, retail food and bespoke laminate markets.
