BCQ adds colour management to standards stable

BCQ Group has added ISO 12647/2 to its raft of business standards.

The certification, which was awarded under the URS certification body, covers colour management at the £9m turnover Buckingham-based business.

Chief executive Tyrone Spence desribed the three years of work involved in undergoing the certification as "not for the faint-hearted".

"At a time when margins are so tight, quality and efficiency are key to achieving success, so developing our business processes is one of the most important actions BCQ can undertake.

"BCQ has ensured our customers have even greater confidence in our ability to produce quality print, cost-effectively, time after time."

The 104-staff business already has already gained ISO 9001 (quality management), 14001 (environmental management), 27001 (information security) and OHSAS18001 (health and safety).
