Bath Press in consultation about redundancies

Bath Press is in consultation with staff and the union about 40 redundancies, according to a report published in The Bath Chronicle today.

The firm is expected to cut 21 jobs from its bindery, 12 from its office and six from its warehouse.

It told employees to expect 40 job cuts and is in a formal consultation period. Amicus GPMS industrial officer Peter Harris told The Chronicle he knew "very little" at this stage.
The firm was unavailable for comment.

Parent firm CPI was subject to a management buyout last year.
