Arjowiggins Graphic launches new recycled inkjet paper range

Arjowiggins Graphic has launched a high-quality high speed inkjet paper range which is 100% recycled.

The range of coated and uncoated papers with a range of high whiteness and grammages, has been designed specifically for inkjet printers and to work on all inkjet digital presses. It is available commercially now.

This, according to the company, significantly increases the variety and quality of recycled paper options for those using inkjet. It sees it as a complete replacement for non-recycled paper.

Sales and marketing director Jean Charles Monange said: "We see this product range as an innovative and alternative solution for printers and their corporate clients."

The range is aimed at direct mail, transactional and transpromo applications and is well-suited for marketing materials, reports and corporate documents.

It includes two papers with a 150 CIE which have been certified as 100% recycled by the FSC. Cocoon Jet is a high performing treated and pigmented uncoated inkjet paper for high speed colour inkjet printing and has been endorsed by Océ and Kodak. Cocoon Jet Pro is an uncoated inkjet paper treated and pigmented for demanding full colour printing.

Arjowiggins Graphic collects, de-inks and makes waste paper into recycled pulp at its mill in Greenfield, France.

The pulp is then used to make the new papers at the company’s 27 FSC certified mills spread across the world. Up to 26% of the waste paper is sourced from the UK.

Arjowiggins Graphic is part of global manufacturer of papers and high-tech materials Arjowiggins, manufacturer of papers and high-tech materials for the printing industry. It has 6,100 employees with a revenue of £1.7bn.
