The tool supports the RAW files produced by professional digital cameras and uses non-destructive image processing to produce pictures, including multiple versions, without changing the underlying "digital negative".
Output, including prints, digitally printed photo books and digital images for print and web, is ICC colour managed. Tasks that cannot be completed in Aperture, such as compositing multiple images, can be exported to Adobe Photoshop and re-imported for archiving.
