AlphaGraphics in kit upgrade

Business-to-business printer AlphaGraphics Manchester has invested 250,000 in new digital equipment as it relocates to new 800m2 premises.

The most recent addition is a Heidelberg DI colour press, which will be installed when AlphaGraphics moves to its Trafford Park facilities in October. The company has also added a second Xerox DocuTech at its current facility in Deansgate. Further expansion will create an additional three jobs.

"With our customers geared towards short-run jobs, digital is the only way forward in that respect," said AlphaGraphics Manchester managing director Nick Wright.

Located near to Old Trafford football ground, the new facility encompasses print, finishing and office space. As well as digital print the firm also offers litho, personalised mail, print management and online ordering. "The relocation allows us to provide an increased level of integrated print and communication services," added Wright.

AlphaGraphics Manchester is part of the Pindar-owned AlphaGraphics  franchise and was the preferred print supplier for the Commonwealth Games in 2002.
