John Cunningham, UK sales manager for the creative sales group, says the main benefit for printers is affordable access to the latest Adobe software and technical documentation.
"We've embarked on a heavy campaign to recruit printers and to help them," said Cunningham.
"The key for most of them is technical documentation and handling transparency using PDF."
Ensuring printers are kept up to date with the latest versions of its software helps Adobe to encourage creatives to use its packages knowing they can output files to print successfully. The firm believes that ASN status will also be of help to printers in marketing themselves.
The firm is also looking at how to tie its Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) qualification into formal vocational training.
