Adnitt and Baker buy into M&M

Derek Adnitt and Les Baker, the former sales director and works director of Litho-Tech Colour Printers, have bought into M&M Print in east London.

The duo, who each own 25%, aim to make M&M a small Litho-Tech following an imminent rebranding. They join existing directors Mike Ahearne and Mike OHalloran.

Adnitt and Baker resigned from Litho-Tech in May, unhappy with working in a big company environment after it was bought by Carlton Barclay. Carlton Barclay and Litho-Tech have since been placed into administrative receivership (PrintWeek, 21 June).

We plan to rebrand the company and then change direction slightly to work more with designers, which is the market we know, said Adnitt. He said the 12-staff firm had a similar customer base to that of Litho-Tech.
