Williams Lea organised the print and mailing elements as part of its print management contract with Abbey.
Abbey shareholder relations spokeswoman Anne Gorman, confirmed that five printers were used along with four mailing houses, but neither Abbey or Williams Lea revealed the firms involved.
The first mailing included a proxy voting form, 8pp summary, and a 400pp merger agreement, each with a print run of 1.8m to its shareholders.
Now the deal has been approved, a further 1.8m run containing a statement of intent and a 16pp terms and conditions document will produced and mailed.
Abbey awarded Williams Lea a five-year 150m deal at the start of the year (PrintWeek, 12 February).
