A 30-day consultation process with Amicus GPMS is now under way.
As part of the restructure, which was mooted last week, two of the company's older presses - a 16pp and a 32pp - will be taken out of daily use. The firm will now operate six presses on a daily basis.
"We have made this decision because of lack of demand in the market and stupidly low prices at the moment," said Cooper Clegg chairman Ian Cooper. He added that the company "reviewed things all the time" but that no further job losses were planned.
"Consultation is under way and the company has been quite good about the process," said Amicus GPMS South Wales and Shires branch officer Martin Hodges.
The redundancies follow narrowed losses in 2005 with an operating loss of 54,000.
The company, however, did benefit from Emap's review by retaining FHM and winning Q.
