The Stationers’ Company will hold its Annual Lecture 2016 at Stationers’ Hall in London from 6pm to 10pm on 21 March. Libby Purves, BBC Radio 4 presenter, author, and a commentator for The Times, will deliver this year’s lecture. Purves, who joined the Today programme in 1976, becoming the programme’s first female and youngest ever presenter, was also the first person to broadcast live from Beijing and received an OBE for services to journalism.
