Ricoh Fantasy Football League January winner announced

The top of the Ricoh Fantasy Football League table has caused some controversy this month with an impressive top two entries from Colourgraphic Arts.

Topping the league in January is the company's Ryan Aldridge with his Boat's n Ho's team on 234 points.

Impressively, for the Bordon, Hampshire-based company, Aldridge's colleague Vince Scardarella and his team Vinces Merry Men finished just three points behind to take second place.

Aldridge has taken the Ferguson route to glory, bringing in Manchester United's top scorer Wayne Rooney as captain to secure top points.

Shockingly, not one person has selected the club's second top scorer for this season – Og (aka own goal), who added to an already impressive tally for the season with a hat-trick against Portsmouth. Little is known of the lad, but wherever he hails from, he is certainly proving that Man U are anything but a one-man team.

Taking the Arsenal role in the league this month, which probably means he'll be knocked out of several competitions in March but claim the moral high-ground because he looked good doing it, is NB Group's Marc Jeffrey and his Marcs Marvels team. Captained by Tottenham Hotspurs' striker Jermaine Defoe, his side picked up a massive 230 points.

Each month's winner of the Ricoh Fantasy Football League receives two tickets to a Coventry City match, as well as the chance to nominate two people to play at the Ricoh Arena against a printweek.com/Ricoh XI side, plus one month's banner advertising on printweek.com for their company.
