The Staffordshire-based business has installed a Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 74-5H and moved into a 420sqm residence that is more than double the size of its older Tamworth plant.
Managing director Deane Merrick said: "By bringing B2 work in-house and working to the same high standards we have had with the Speedmaster SM 52-5, we can provide optimum quality at speed."
Merrick added that the new format would also allow the six-staff business to cut the amount of work it previously outsourced to other printers.
"Cutting outsourcing and having overall control of all print we supply will extend the work we do for existing customers and open up new opportunities," he said.
The new press, which comes complete with Heidelberg's Prinect Pre-Press Interface, will be fed plates by its newly installed Suprasetter A75 CTP device.
Its thermal technology platesetter will process Fuji Pro-T2 plates – an investment that is expected to cut the level of electricity used and waste produced during the plate-making procedure.
Restart Print was established in 1996 and serves a predominantly trade client base.
