Papergraphics expands with new appointment

Papergraphics is expanding to focus more heavily on product design after creating a new senior management role within the company.

Michelle Dellow, who joined as product manager last month from Muraspec Wallcoverings, was recruited to pursue design opportunities and hone market analysis.

A company spokesman said: “The expansion reflects our move towards becoming an all-encompassing service provider. Michelle will head up a design team and conduct market research.

“She will lead development and design of products that allow customers to expand in new sectors to help us stay at the forefront in bespoke wide-format printing.”

Dellow said: “I am excited by the creative ambition of the company. Working with Papergraphics will give me the opportunity to explore new creative avenues.”

Managing director Nathan Atkins added: “We’re confident Michelle’s appointment will help drive the business and bring new products to market. We’re keen to push the boundaries of innovation.”

In May, Crawley-based Papergraphics replaced Paperlinx UK as a reseller of Canon UK’s aqueous wide-format printers to the UK market.

The move followed adoption of Paperlinx’s Jetrix hardware and software sales a month earlier following the bulk of Paperlinx UK’s operations being put into administration.

Atkins said at the time Papergraphics wanted to work with the best OEMs in the market and was considering other deals to continue its move into hardware and software sales.

The company reported a £14.6m turnover in its latest filed accounts and has around 90 people working in the UK.
