Minuteman Press Bristol invests in a Morgana FSN2

Minuteman Press Bristol has invested 11,100 in a Morgana FSN2 after first viewing the machine at Ipex earlier this year.

The new piece of kit has two perfecting reels and was bought directly from Morgana.

Managing director of the Bristol-based printer Peter Wise said the first attraction was its mechanisms, and added that the company has seen "a dramatic difference" in suction and reliability.

He said: "The kit does multitasking, which is great, and it is a remarkable return on investment.
"It is a lot less labour intensive and runs at much higher speeds, and it is also very simple to use."

He added that the end result is also much better quality and that set-up times were extremely quick.

"We were very impressed with what we saw on the Morgana stand at Ipex," he said.

He added that the company will next look to invest in large-format kit, and Wise added that there has been "quite a dramatic" growth in this sector.

Minuteman Press Bristol's sectors include leaflets, business stationery, flyers, graphic design and website design.
