UK-based Intec Printing Solutions specialises in low-cost digital printers and printing solutions. PrintX is a printer consumable distributor in India. Both the partners teamed up to organise roadshows and exhibitors across India where Intec launched its print systems.

Intec’s international business development manager Kerry Button, who was present at the roadshows and exhibitions, said: "With the fifth largest GDP in the world, 2.5 lakh commercial printers and over one billion people, India was a prime target for Intec. Launching digital products to such a vast audience wouldn’t be easy but the long term benefits of getting it right, could be spectacular."

Intec’s range of products include the CP2020, PFS200, APP400, HPP500, Pro RIP and Variprint. The Intec CP2020, one of the digital printer, is capable of printing onto heavy stock up to 512gsm, making it ideal for card products.

"Early sales volumes have been very exciting and PrintX has been busy signing up new resellers across the country," said Shiva Kumar, general manager at PrintX. He added: "It’s rather impressive how well the Intec CP2020 with its heavy stock and specialist media capabilities has been received."

PrintX’s team has an experience of over 30 years in the print industry and will take care of the distributorship and service all across India.
