Moorestown, NJ-based Weiler specialises in high-speed labeling systems for pharmaceutical and consumer markets.
Guy's extensive leadership experience in the industry includes setting up Heidelberg's global used equipment operation, which at the time was based in Slough, England. He subsequently spent six years at label and packaging press specialist Gallus as president and head of the Americas region. His most recent executive role was at HD Label Group.
At Weiler Guy will be responsible for all worldwide sales and marketing. Weiler president Ted S. Geiselman said his sales and marketing experience was the perfect fit for the company. "He will help define the path we take in the future to grow our overall business."
Guy described the new role as an exciting opportunity. He told PrintWeek: "My primary goal now is to boost our reach beyond our current focus, and to increase awareness in Europe and other parts of the world."
The Weiler Labeling Systems range includes printing and inspection systems, outserters, and inline labelers.
