CPC improves green credentials with FSC Chain of Custody certification

Digital printer CPC has bolstered its environmental credentials after securing FSC Chain of Custody certification.

The Malmesbury, Wiltshire-based company, which specialises in digital duplication as well as mono and colour digital printing, pursued FSC certification to demonstrate its "commitment to sustainability".

CPC now offers around 50 FEC-certified stocks covering coated, uncoated and recycled substrates for a range of jobs that include books, brochures, leaflets, point-of-sale literature and packaging.

Kevin Assinder, managing director of CPC, said: "FSC certification along with ISO 14001 and the appointment of a full-time system manager to control and maintain compliance of our business demonstrates our commitment to these important business processes over the longer term.

"Whatever our customers' requirements, whether it be for leaflets, flyers, posters, business stationery or packaging products, we can now offer a green, eco-friendly, alternative that supports the growth of responsible forest protection and management worldwide."
