Service Point begins rebuild with recruitment drive

Service Point UK has announced a major recruitment drive with up to 40 vacancies to be filled by the end of the year.

The move, which follows the company being bought out of administration by Paragon Group in May, has been made to support its new owner's growth plans.

A range of positions are available including project and business development managers, client services executives and retail operatives.

“There is a fantastic energy and atmosphere in Service Point now,” said Tom Harrison, who recently re-joined the business as its managed services director.

“Investing in the business and employing high-quality professionals who have the skills, ambition and determination to achieve is just the start.”

The firm hopes to fill the first round of vacancies within the next two months and the remainder by the end of the year.

The openings are all new vacancies in positions where the firm has identified a need and opportunity.

“Everyone at Service Point has been working tremendously hard over the past eight weeks to take the business forward,” said Harrison.

“This is a new start for us and presents an excellent opportunity for those who want to work within the industry.”

The company, which provides document, print and information services, has also committed to a significant investment programme over the next three years to support its growth.

Its plans include cross-selling its services and those of Paragon's throughout its now combined customer base.

Service Point’s acquisition by Paragon saved more than 400 jobs in the UK and more in Scandinavia, where the firm has extended its operations too in recent years with the acquisitions of Holmbergs in Sweden and Allkopi in Norway.
