Screen has expanded its European service and support operations following a period of “exponential growth” in high-end inkjet.

Screen stalwart Tony Gill, who joined the business 20 years ago, has been promoted to regional service manager for the UK and Ireland, MEA, Spain, Portugal and France.

“Tony brings a unique combination of deep knowledge of our inkjet technology and excellent understanding of our customers’ requirements,” said Steve Low, VP service & support Screen Europe.

"He will have a crucial role in accommodating Screen’s growth, providing support and service to customers across Europe."

Gill will oversee installation, training, hardware and software upgrades and preventative maintenance of Screen’s high-end inkjet systems.

Meanwhile, the inkjet manufacturer has also bolstered service and support in its German speaking markets with the appointment of Mario Offermann as service manager for its customer base in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Offermann joined from rival Agfa.

“The expansion of our excellent support team reflects the exponential growth Screen Europe has experienced in the German-speaking market and elsewhere in Europe in the past few years,” said Low.
