KJS Mail and Print invests in Morgana Autocreaser

KJS Mail and Print has upped its finishing capacity after installing a Morgana Autocreaser Pro.

The Peterborough-based print and mailing house was one of the first printers in the country to install the original Autocreaser, shortly after its formation in 1998.

According to KJS partner Stuart Speechley, the Pro version of the machine is a huge leap forward from its predecessor.

He said: "The Pro is in a different league for speed, ease of use and the variety of folds it will handle. A big advantage is that it is simple enough for anyone in our finishing department to use. This gives us great flexibility."

The 8,000-sheets-an-hour machine will handle work from a Ryobi five-colour litho press and a Xerox digital print engine.

As well as offering a mailing service, KJS is also a commercial printer, offering anything from business cards and letterheads to posters and pop-up stands. Its customers include travel agent Thomas Cook and London Fashion Week.
