Go Inspire has recruited a new strategic account director for its charity-specialist division Connect.

The Leicester-headquartered business said the tactical hire comes “as it seeks to close the loop on its integrated ecosystem” to support its charity sector clients’ revenue growth.

Jo Scott joined the Go Inspire Connect division in the newly created role this summer, under the leadership of Connect managing director Clare Davidson.

She brings a wealth of cause and prize-led fundraising experience in the charity sector following over 20 years at Woods Valldata.

During this time Scott has worked with a wide range of charities, including Macmillan Cancer Support, the RNLI, The Air Ambulance Service, RNIB, and Marie Curie, helping them to deliver their fundraising activities.

In her new role Scott will cover several areas including development of retention and acquisition strategies, creative direction, defining test plans, and program optimisation and growth.

Go Inspire stated: “Jo will oversee delivery of best-in-class print and direct mail, using compelling creative and innovative formats, whilst ensuring that Go Inspire’s charity clients benefit from market leading knowledge on how to plan and execute a successful campaign.

“She will use her understanding and experience of the sector to define bespoke strategies and testing plans focused on achieving fundraising goals.”

Scott commented: “I had collaborated on the delivery of campaigns for several charities with Go Inspire in the past, and I was impressed by the creativity of the communications being produced by the Go Inspire team.

“The drive and commitment I saw from the team to go the extra mile for their clients really resonated with my own approach to delivering exceptional customer service. It is a team I wanted to be part of.”

Davidson added: “I am delighted to welcome Jo to Go Inspire Connect as we grow our strategic fundraising proposition. Jo has an exceptional track record in delivering above and beyond for charity clients and we look forward to her sharing her expertise with our teams and clients, as well as bringing a fresh perspective to the management team.”

In July Xerox acquired Go Inspire as the manufacturer looked to expand its Digital Services business worldwide.
