Denmaur to offer free 'paper health checks' at PrintWeekLive!

Paper merchant Denmaur Independent Papers is set to return to PrintWeekLive! when the show opens its doors for 2018 next week, and will be offering free “paper health checks” among a raft of other services to visitors.

The £120m-turnover business said it has chosen to return to PrintWeekLive! after “good opportunities” emerged from its attendance at the show’s inaugural outing last year.

“This did obviously have an influence on our return,” said Denmaur director of marketing and sustainability Danny Doogan.

He added: “PrintWeekLive! is regarded as the leading event in the industry calendar, attracting quality in terms of both exhibitors and visitors.

“So, as a company looking to increase its presence in the commercial print sector, the show provides us a great opportunity to update visitors of our improved range of products and services.”

Doogan said the firm will primarily use PrintWeekLive! as an opportunity to promote discussions with visitors to its stand.

“We will have a number of expert paper people on our stand to discuss specific areas of paper for print, there will be plenty of swatches to give out on the day, and we'll be inviting visitors to take us up on free paper health checks.”

The firm said this service sees its consultants “proactively find alternatives and solutions for our customers to keep them ahead of the market”.

98-staff Denmaur is headquartered in Sittingbourne, Kent. In 2016 it quadrupled its capacity by moving all of its warehousing to a central Leicestershire location.

PrintWeekLive! takes place on 7/8 March 2018 in the Ericsson exhibition hall at the Wasps Arena, Coventry.
