Datagraphic was one of two UK companies to order Xerox's new reel-to-sheet narrow web inkjet press at its launch at Hunkeler Innovationdays in February and expects to take delivery of the Rialto 900 in August, with live production due to start in September.
The printer will be joined by Xerox for the webinar, which will take place at 11:30am (GMT+1) on Wednesday 20 May and which is aimed at the Rugby, Warwickshire-based firm's print reseller clients.
The event will include a 30 minute presentation on how resellers can sell documents produced using inkjet technology, looking at both the current market and future applications. It will include a 10 minute Q&A session afterwards.
Datagraphic marketing director Suzanne Beech said: "A number of resellers will have seen inkjet in the past and had question marks about the applications and the quality. We're hosting the webinar to share what we've learnt about where the market is going and how the technology itself has move on.
"Xerox have some statistics that they will present on the percentage share of the inkjet market that is expected to be inkjet in the coming years."
Beech added that Datagraphic expected to produce "predominantly transactional print" on its Rialto 900.
There are 50 places available on the webinar, with around half of those already taken, although Beech said the company could double the capacity with the service provider if there was sufficient demand.
