After leaving Sessions of York, which went into administration in April 2010, to join Medica Packaging Greenwood said: "Certainly one of the key features of the business is the fact that it can provide three packaging components: cartons, leaflets and labels from one production site."

Medica Packaging creates packaging for pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. Benson Group’s clients include GlaxoSmithKline, Northern Foods and Reckitt Benckiser, as well as supermarket chains and other retailers.

Benson Group managing director Mark Kerridge said: "We believe that she is the right person to take on the challenges posed by the pharmaceutical market, and will help to keep Medica at the forefront of packaging development."

Since 2000, investment in Benson Group’s four sites has exceeded £25m.
