Konica Minolta showed a prototype of a new B1 UV inkjet digital press and launched its B2-plus UV inkjet press, the KM-1, under its new Accurio branding... HP, which had the biggest presence at the show, overtaking Heidelberg for the first time, secured sales for around 50 of its Drupa-launched Indigo 12000s, including major deals with two of the world’s biggest web-to-print firms... Xaar launched its first aqueous printhead in what it described as a “world leading” spec and announced a new partnership with Ricoh... Indigo and Landa Digital Printing founder Benny Landa celebrated his 70th birthday in style with a huge party the show... Ricoh and EFI signed a sales partnership for Ricoh to sell EFI printers... Flexible packaging specialist Reflex followed up on the deposit it paid at Drupa 2012 by placing an order for a Landa W10 web press... Glossop Cartons signed up for a new carton-specific MIS from Imprint-MIS as well as an RMGT 10-series B1 press, in a six-colour-plus-coater configuration... Online trade printer Quinn’s placed an order for a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106-8-P LE-UV press...
