Imprint MIS joins Print Efficiently line-up

Imprint MIS has been added to the line-up for the fifth Print Efficiently event, which will take place in October.

The MIS supplier will demonstrate its systems including full JDF integration across the whole shop floor, job bag creation, accurate cost monitoring, production control, stock control and job management.

Imprint MIS sales and marketing director Wayne Beckett said: “A totally focused event like this gives visitors the opportunity to sit down with a supplier and discuss their requirements in detail in a totally relaxed environment.

“For several years now Print Efficiently has brought together major manufacturers and this year Imprint MIS are very proud to have been invited to take part.”

Print Efficiently, which will take place from 6-8 and 20-22 October, will be held this year at Apex Digital Graphics’ new headquarters in Hemel Hempstead.

The firm’s new showroom is still currently being finished but managing director Bob Usher said he expects work on it to be completed by mid-August.

The new venue is adjacent to the second Print Efficiently key partner, Intelligent Finishing Systems (IFS), which relocated to the town last year. The show will take place across both firms' showrooms.

“Print Efficiently has brought Apex and IFS into close partnership in recent years, and now we are in our new premises we are literally closer together,” said Usher.

“Both buildings are on the same site and it’s only a 20-metre walk between our showroom and the IFS building. We’ll mix the kit up between the two showroom areas as we want to give the feel that it’s one big show.

“We are very much looking forward to jointly hosting this year’s Print Efficiently, which is now an established part of the industry calendar, and has gone from strength to strength.”

The 2014 event was hailed the biggest yet with total sales of well over £1m reported. It covered most aspects of commercial print from web-to-print, MIS, colour measurement and consumables through to litho, digital and wide-format print and finishing.

The show’s other partners this year will include Vpress, KAS, Colourbyte, CyanX, Premier, TSS, Renz and PDC. Organisers said further details about show content will be revealed closer to the event.
