Curtis Print & Packaging produces sustainable cartons

Packaging printer Curtis Print & Packaging has won the contract to design and produce Nude Skincare's sustainable packaging.

The Wimbledon-based carton designer and printer has replaced Nude Skincare's biodegradable cornstarch sleeves with FSC-certified biodegradable cartons, which are printed using non-toxic inks and a water-based matt seal.

Annmarie Harris, marketing manager of Nude Skincare, said: "Positioning ourselves at the forefront of sustainable and environmentally sound production within the beauty industry has always been central to the Nude ethos."

Steve Mallett, Curtis Print & Packaging sales director, added: "It proves that sustainable packaging can be beautiful too."

Curtis offers a host of environmentally conscious materials, inks, and production methods. Its clients include Boots, L'Oreal, Nivea, Soap and Glory and Neal's Yard.
