The specialist signage and wide-format trade show, which was acquired by B2B events firm Datateam in 2023, will take place alongside Datateam’s Printwear & Promotion Live! Exhibition at Birmingham’s NEC.
Among the newly revealed exhibitors are suppliers such as Sign Trade Supplies, Sign and Screenprint Supplies, UK Feather Flags, digital and electronics specialists like Assured Signage and Brownings, and manufacturers like engraving machinery firm BestSub, and UV curing products manufacturer Techsil.
A few overseas names likewise feature, including Jiangxi Oujia Industrial and Zheijiang So-fine Self-adhesive Products, both of which will show off their acrylic and self-adhesive products.
This year will be Sign Trade Supplies’ first time at Sign & Digital UK, according to Garrick Dartnell, the firm’s head of marketing, with six members of the team due to make the journey up from Kent.
He told Printweek: “We’ve been trading over 35 years, and we’ve never been to the show [as an exhibitor], but I think now the time is right.
“We’ve got some new products coming out, and it will be nice to reconnect with everyone, and meet new people. I’m used to going as a visitor to the UK show, so it’ll be good to be on the other side of the fence and show people what we have.”
Tony Gardner, director of Sign & Digital UK, said that new exhibitors were still being added, with around 70 confirmed to date.
He told Printweek that he was very optimistic about the 2024 show, thanks to strong cross-pollination between the Sign & Digital and Printwear & Promotion Live! events.
He said: “The numbers are very encouraging, in terms of the feedback we’ve had so far, for how many people are planning to visit both shows.
“It’s the first time that you’ve had two shows like this run alongside each other in the UK, and that’s a successful format which has worked on the continent for a few shows,” he added, pointing to the success of Lyon’s CTCO or Fespa.
“Hopefully that success can be reflected across Printwear and Sign & Digital,” Gardner said.
