A new trio of print tenders has appeared on the government’s Contracts Finder service.

Rail Safety Standards Board (RSSB) has listed a tender simply requiring ‘print services’. No further detail of the nature of the work is given but the contract is listed as being worth £350,000.

Set to close for bids at 12pm on 19 July 2023, the contract will start on 21 August 2023 and end on 20 August 2026.

Additional information on how to apply for this contract, and contact details for the buyer, are available on Contracts Finder.

Meanwhile, East Suffolk Council has a tender out for a service that will include the design, print, and delivery of a garden waste collection permit/sticker to residents subscribing to the garden waste collection service in the district of East Suffolk.

Worth £100,000, this tender will close at 12pm on 30 June 2023, with the contract starting on 24 July 2023 and ending on 23 July 2024.

A tender is also live from National Army Museum, which is looking to appoint a “suitably experienced and qualified” graphics company to print and install the graphic elements of a new permanent gallery entitled Army at Home.

It stated: “This exciting new gallery at the National Army Museum, Chelsea, explores the work of the British Army on home shores and the Army’s role in forging a united nation. It opens to the public on 19 September 2023, but is required to be completed by 12 September for press and event previews.

“The graphics remit comprises object labels, text panels and a small amount of large-scale wallpaper imagery. It also includes facsimiles of some paper items which need to resemble the original items as closely as possible, provision of samples and installation on site.

“Facsimiles should be on a matt surface with a cartridge paper quality and we look forward to suggestions on how best to replicate these.”

The museum said there would be an element of working at height required to install the large scale wallpaper imagery and that the contractor should ensure a ‘safe system of work’ is in place and that the cost of any specialist equipment hire is included in the tender.

Worth £18,000 to £20,000, this tender will close at 9am on 7 July 2023. The contract start date is listed as 14 August 2023, with an end date given of 18 August 2023.
