Texo Trade Services premieres two textiles at Fespa

Texo Trade Services has launched two new printable textiles at Fespa 2019.

The Dutch manufacturer will be launching the PES Mesh PVC-free textile for outdoor banner and fence tarpaulin applications and the Whiteback Soft block-out textile with white backing.

Both products will be available from Texo’s warehouse in the Netherlands as of the show, which runs 14-17 May at Messe Munich. Texo is exhibiting on stand B20 in hall B6.

Director Floris-Jan van den Heuvel said: “We have exhibited at Fespa since 2002 in Madrid and never missed out on a single show since. Every year the show has become bigger and bigger and for us. It’s our most important show to meet up with our international customers and get in contact with potential new customers.

“Besides our products, we offer a lot of know-how on how to print onto our substrates and you could call that our main USP.

“Our hopes for the latest show are to show printers in the soft-signage market that there is more to the sector than flags and displays. With the new products, we offer them options to diversify from the standard media and go into new markets, as well as offering their clients new products with more added value.”

The PES Mesh is 100% polyester and can be printed using UV, direct dye-sublimation or transfer printing. It weighs 230gsm with high tensile strength and an open structure that is air permeable. It is available up to 5m wide.

Building on Texo’s Blackback Soft product, the Whiteback Soft is a new substrate with an extra white coating on its reverse side. Even with three-layer coating, it has a 2%-3% stretch in both directions and remains stable in a calender. It can also be printed on UV, dye-sub or transfer and is recommended for rear panels on lightboxes.

Texo Trade Services will also be exhibiting its Display Stretch 240 densely-woven display cloth, as well as paper and foil substrates for screen printing, at its Fespa stand.
