Riso has launched two new cutsheet high-speed inkjet printers for the production print market.

The Valezus T2200, which made its worldwide debut at IGAS2022, Tokyo in November, is a twin-engined, full-colour device that replaces the T2100, which was released in 2019.

Equipped with a new, enhanced engine to further deliver high productivity, the T2200 achieves a duplex printing speed of 330ppm.

Meanwhile, the new single-engined Valezus T1200, which is additional to the Riso portfolio, is suitable for both short and long-run transactional printing. The full-colour machine offers print speeds of 165ppm and is equipped with a 4,000-sheet delivery capacity feeder and stacker.

Tatsuo Murakami, managing director at Riso UK, said: “While the production print market is changing and evolving all the time, there is a constant need for flexibility, quick turnaround, and, ultimately, profitability.

“Both of these new devices meet those requirements and present companies with unique opportunities to meet volume demands that cannot be handled by other printing technologies.”

Both printers utilise a new high-density ink formulation from Riso that the company said further improves the quality of the output.

The new machines will both be on show at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2023, which will be held in Lucerne, Switzerland from 27 February to 2 March.

The devices are available both direct from Riso and from its distributors. Pricing was not disclosed.
