Konica Minolta unveils bizhub Press C71hc

Konica Minolta has introduced a new digital production printer, which is aimed at providing vibrant colour for corporate and marketing collateral.

The bizhub Press C71hc has replaced the bizhub Press C70hc in the manufacturer’s press portfolio.

Konica said the machine, which uses Konica's High-Chroma toner that has the ability to reproduce a wider range of shades in the sRGB colour space, will expand its footprint in the photo merchandising market.

The High-Croma toner is derived from Konica's Simitri HD E toner technology.

The company said the press, which can print up to 71 A4ppm at 1,200dpi resolution, can print colours such as vivid pinks and purples, shades of green and bright blue in a significantly brighter and more vibrant manner than before.

“The bizhub Press C71hc is engineered for effective visual communication,” said Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia Regional Headquarters general manager Jonathan Yeo.

“It is furnished with powerful finishing options, workflow and colour management, which will enable a digital print professional to benefit from maximised value and reduction in capital expenditure.

“This once again demonstrates Konica Minolta's commitment to creating new value.”

Other features of the C71hc include automatic duplex printing of up to 300gsm, and producing printed materials up to 1,200mm for simplex printing.

The machine comes with the all-in-one finisher (FS-532), saddle-stitcher (SD-506), stapling finisher (FS-531/FS-612), multi-folding unit (FD-503) and perfect binder (PB-503).
