Infigo revamps Catfish web-to-print modules

UK-based Infigo Software is demonstrating upgrades to its document and photo-gift design modules for its Catfish web-to-print platform at Drupa (Hall 10, C13-2).

Infigo founder Douglas Gibson said the company had expanded the functionality of its online document editing module MegaEdit Pro to broaden it from being purely a photobook package.

“A customer said it would be great to do a real estate brochure, great to do a canvas, great to do a banner. So, for the show, we’ve introduced scripting, which allows you to make the whole interface very, very configurable.

“The nice thing [about MegaEdit Photo] is it can be really highly skinned. If you look at some products, they can do really cool things but the customers want it to be their own brand.”

Catfish with MegaEdit Pro and MegaEdit Photo retails for between €38,000 (£30,000) and €64,000, depending on configuration.

Infigo has also introduced a 3D preview engine at Drupa, for fixed, animated or 3D previews.

Infigo is headquartered in the UK, but has satellite operations in Moldova and the US. Its ‘tile style’ Drupa stand was created by US-based printer TileClip.
