Digital coating specialist Folex launched a range of new materials for high-speed inkjet printing at Fespa, with a key focus being on users of Memjet printhead technology.

The firm said its newly developed nanoporous coating can be applied to a number of different substrate types, including PET, PP and vinyl.

Among the new products, which are being demonstrated on an RTI Vortex 4200 printer, are water resistant white glossy permanent self-adhesive vinyl SIVN and window graphic film SIGUV, which can be used with UV inks.

Folex Print On product manager Simon Warren said: “The feedback of the performance of the new materials has been extremely positive.”
