The Italian manufacturer has combined elements of its existing, proven technology into the circa €240,000 (£190,000) device. 

The pallet-to-pallet system has two independent cuttings heads, and its multi-sheet loading facility allows full use of the 3.2x3.2m cutting area.

Target markets include point-of-purchase and corrugated packaging printers.

“This is a unique machine, people see it at the show and then they come back the next day to ask for more information about it,” said general manager Daniele Gallucci. “It can run unmanned so even if cutting takes longer than printing, you don’t need to be there.”

Elitron’s Airo panel unloads the entire working area, whether multiple or single sheets, in one go and creates “perfect stacks” without nicks for easy stripping. 

Empty pallets travel from the loading area to the unloading area, automatically. 

The Kombo TAV-R on Elitron’s booth has been sold to Belgian firm Pop Solutions.
