Arjowiggins signs exclusive deal with Antalis and EBB

Arjowiggins Graphic has announced that its bright white recycled papers are to become exclusive to suppliers Antalis McNaughton and Elliot Baxter from July.

Cocoon, offered in uncoated and two-sided coated, is available through Antalis McNaughton while coated ranges Satimat Green and Maine Gloss Green are supplied by Elliot Baxter. Both companies have been distributors of the Arjowiggins ranges for four years.

The exclusivity follows Paperlinx’s decision to discontinue its 9lives and Greencoat lines and revert production of Revive back to Italian paper producer Burgo, which were all previously made by Arjowiggins Graphic.

The three surviving lines will be made using the same techniques as the three discontinued products and offer the same quality of whiteness, according to Arjowiggins.

Arjowiggins spokesperson Gemma Hinksman said: "We are focusing on our business and making sure that the market knows our high quality papers are still available."

Arjowiggins is increasing production of its brands at its French Greenfield mill, which is being expanded to increase yearly output by 25,000 tonnes.

Cocoon is offered 100% and 50% recycled and Satimat Green and Maine Gloss Green are available with 75% recycled fibres.
