If last night’s heroics in Moscow have got you wondering how you could become the Gareth Southgate of print and prove you have a team of potential winners, then there’s still time to enter the PrintWeek Awards, now that the entry deadline has been extended.
However, unlike the World Cup there’s more than one winner in the industry’s flagship awards scheme, and with more than 20 coveted PrintWeek Prisms up for grabs, split between performance and quality categories, there’s an award suited to every UK print business.
The awards, the most credible in print, feature an independent judging panel made up of leading buyers and experts in their fields and a judging process designed to ensure a level playing field.
And PrintWeek’s very own ‘penalty shootout’ means that every business, large or small, first-time entrant or past winner has an equal chance to be crowned the best in their chosen field.
However, just like the World Cup you have to enter to have a chance of winning.
The deadline for online submissions has now been extended to 16 July, with a deadline of 20 July for sending in your print samples.
So, visit the Awards website for the full breakdown of categories and click here to download our guide to entering, which includes some top tips from previous judges. And if you’re still not sure on which categories to enter or want some advice on how to put your entry together as simply as possible, contact event manager Sam Dewey on firstname.lastname@example.org or 020 7501 6782.
And once you’ve submitted your entry you and your team can start to ‘believe’ and keep your fingers crossed for when the shortlist it published, which might just be a welcome distraction from the (hopefully) inevitable stresses of the next few weeks.
