Family-run John Dollin Printing Services started in 1976 as a marketing company, and the business has come a long way to where it stands today, laying claim to being “one of the largest and most respected commercial printers in the south of England”.


Where are you based? 

John Dollin is based in Whitchurch, Hampshire, which has excellent transport links 

How many staff do you have? 


What does your firm do? 

We print and finish a wide range of work including business cards, brochures, POS and bespoke packaging

What’s your typical customer? 

A mix of trade, design agencies, and direct customers

Which areas do you serve? 

UK and worldwide 

Which markets do you serve? 

Much of the marketing industry, including government, SMEs, retail and financial 

What’s your USP?

We offer up to B1 litho and B2 digital with a lot of finishing in-house

What’s your company’s motto? 

We have steadily expanded the services to the point where we can now provide the ‘complete print solution’

What equipment do you run? 

Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105, XL 75 and Anicolor, HP Indigo 7600 and 12000. Plus a wide range of finishing equipment

What’s been your proudest achievement in the past few years? 

Major investment in our digital department both in equipment and staff, including moving the whole department to what used to be our storage warehouse, which involved a complete refurbishment of the unit 

Where do you see your business in five years’ time? 

Doing what we do best, we are very proud of our reputation for quality and service and strive to hold onto and indeed improve on that 

What’s your team’s favourite biscuit? 

We prefer cake!
