Cewe Color has purchased two HP Indigo 7250 presses and an HP Indigo 7600 at Drupa. In addition, the company has signed a letter of intent for an HP Indigo 10000.
Cewe Color director Michael Fries said: "We are always looking for productive solutions. The web presses offer us inline production and a high level of automation."
The company has already been using an HP Indigo 7200 for the last two years. "We have a wide product portfolio and various quantity structures," added Fries. Hence the company has also invested in a sheetfed machine.
Cewe Color is expanding its business and in addition to photo books, greeting cards and calendars is increasingly printing business reports, manuals and brochures as short-run jobs.Tweet
